GIF question

is there a way to make a GIF with out having some fancy program like photoshop? if so what do you recommend that i use to make one?

Make it -> Save as -> Select save as gif (where 24 bit map stands or something =p)

Ofc you can make a .gif file that way but he wants a interactive image (=.gif file).
