well i just made this with the help of a tutorial and i was wondering what you guys thought of it

I think overall you did a good job ^^ Was that your first sig or the first few?
The only thing is it looks a little plain and too sharpened in some areas. I personally use the blur/sharpen dodge/burn tools a lot and I blur/burn the outside and sharpen/dodge the middle or the focal to create more depth. I like the colors and how it looks like the surface of a sun <3 Good job overall!

and no it wasnt my first
my first was bad so i kinda felt the need to redeem myself so im getting back into photoshop and this weekend ive been running around tutorials

I would say cut down on the number of stars for the second one. A real universe doesn't have THAT much stars all the same size right? ^^ Make some bright, make some small, and make some darker. I would use a soft brush with scatter and size jitter on.
