Well i was talking to a few people in my guild just about their thoughts on buying game gold etc and i thought id just ask people here

So what do you think about buying game gold?

Are you for/against it?

Have you done it before? (Maybe not for wow but for other mmo's)?

im not sure if its against forum rules or anything buying gold like it is with botting or anything but if it is then you dont have to answer the 3rd question lol

just stupid. also on wow gold shouldn't be a problem normaly.

Against, also it's easy to get gold, only lames buy it for real cash.

There shouldn't be a need for any opinions. It's againstr the rules of the game. You can, and will, be banned for it when Blizz does their sweep.

Not to mention, as far as I'm aware, discussion of purchasing any and all in-game items is against the forum rules, regardless of game.

Yes i know its against the rules of the game, but some people of the people iv talked to are for it and like it and others here for example are against it i was just wanting to know wat people thought of the subject thats all.

and if its against forum rules mods can lock it.. but i just wanted to know peoples thoughts thats all

It's easy for everyone including new players.

2 gathering professions while leveling.
Dailies at the cap.
Professions at the cap (some more than others).
Farming things.

Gold in wow is easy, though it might require some effort depending on the source.

yea i noticed this.. coz im new to wow but i know a few things. and i have mining and tailoring on my lock and i still make ok money for now + i get my own armor which is good since it always has int

Blizzard is good at banning people for it.

Also, gold is ridiculously easy to make.

Blizzard's stance on the subject is that it is not allowed and they have banned people for it, and as such, I think you are violating forum rules by bringing it up here.

In my opinion though, if you need to buy gold in WoW, you are doing something seriously wrong. Gold is ridiculously easy to obtain in this game.

well mods can lock or delete it if i am but i thought i wasnt coz im not promoting it or anything was just asking peoples thoughts on the topic

When i was a lowbie, the thought of buying gold never crossed my mind. Whatever drops you get from questing and from instances; sell them. Just save the money you get and/or sell stuff on the AH

thats exactly wat i do to try and make money and sell my copper/tin ores

It's a gray area, but I think it's fine, more of an ethics discussion. (although not a particularly good one cause one side will probably get banned if they post lol)
