So, I'm getting very close to raid level, and I'm worried about my choices & options in respect to talents. Currently I'm Enhance DPS, and I do quite well in instances, but I hear only resto shamans are wanted at 80 = /

What is the easiest course of action I could take? The problem so far being, I have NO healing gear so far, and although I can afford it, I'm not duel speced.

stick with what you like, nothing worse then a bad healer or a bad dps because they are just following the trends, your time will come sooner or later as classes get buffed and nerfed a lot each patch least major patch

So I'm sitting at 79, what do you guys recommend the first things I do when I hit 80?

Stick with your current build, since you will be most likely be best at that if you gear corresponds. Then go out and start hammering out some HC's for easy t8.5 gear.

set a list of key stats to get look at easy to get good gears then go get them, before the end of the week you could be raiding in toc10 easy giving you doing good dps

what i do when i get to 80 is do a complete respec. because chances are that lvling up you take talents that are helpful for soloing like what my friend did on his dk, somehow he lvled to 80 with this really messed up build that was like 30/10/31 which may have been awsome for survivability soloing and he said he could tank normal 5mans with it. but now that hes 80 he really needs to respec to either tank or dps, not a mixture of both. didnt look at your spec tig3ress so you may not need to. but thats generally what i do is respec right away when i get to 80.

yeh that goes without saying tbh what may be good for 0-79 isnt good for 80 took me a lot of respecs to hit the right combo for my play style.

stick with your prefered spec but take on a cookie cutter version of it later when you know how you play in a team edit it removing and adding talents to suit you, more often then not this adds more dps

Did you log out while like, building a healer set or something tigress? i see you in alot of +spellpower gear, which isn't at all what you want to use for Enhancement.

you'll be fine with enh. Once you hit 80 and start gearing up the most important thing for you to do is Hit/exp cap i dunno how well the 5mToC set is for shamans but thats used to be difficult without at least some naxx gear. Now you should be able to get your badges so your good for T8.5 and supplement the rest with the 5mToC gear. If you managed to get a tankard-o-terror from brewfest you'll be in great shape if not pic up the next best thing you can...

Enh does fine in raiding and all specs are wanted of course healers are in demand more but i go with an Enh/Ele dual spec and i don't run into problems...

I can't, I'm too busy leveling my own.

Yeah, my gear is quite farked up at the moment, I just respeced from enhancement. Plus ive been on a camp for the past week or so, and I havent been able to update my equips.
