I Can't really see much good coming from it tbh. Except for BLizzard ofcourse, whom will probably price this at another 20 euro's and make tons.

Well, I think that with the faction change you also need to change race.
There would be no Horde Night Elf Druids, but instead they would need to change to Tauren NE Druids.

I'd probably switch to horde then back to human.. less problems with expertise etc every man for himself etc :/

This could be really awesome, or REALLY horrible. unfortunatly im gonna guess horribly
what i see getting the most farked up, are the battlegroups. pvprs might switch sides if they dont ever win which would only stack sides worse...

Oh yeah, but it will probably cost ~$30 to switch faction and then you would probably get a few months delay before you can switch back for another ~$30.

I think if they made it so you could only switch factions once, on a limited number of characters, or once a year it would be alright. I have a friend who would play with us, but his mage is alliance and he doesn't want to have to regrind to 80 on horde side. But I don't think this is going to produce the massive amounts of switching or OMGWTF destroy balance. I would think most people would be pretty comfortable on their servers with their guildmates etc.

Well they're gonna make it so if you swap from alliance to horde then back to alliance, you can't change alliance race, so people won't be abusing it to change racials.
Apparently they're planning to change the troll racial. 20% haste on active for X seconds and Y CD.
Which equals to a free icy veins for troll wiz.

That's good, that would be a huge PITA. I really hope they put some strict time constraints on this, I really don't want to have to deal with faction swappers on a regular basis.
