I have a 70 paladin. I had gear for prot and heals, as I tanked for guild and healed in pvp.

What's the going build for leveling now? I assume it's ret, but under which distribution?



I also want the WoW visa, but it's for US residents only =[ I found when when I tried to apply

There's a WoW visa???? That's awesome! Which server are you on btw?

Most Pala's level with Retri, or offspec with Prot if you can afford the duel spec.
At 80 most turn to tanks...

Fixed that for ya.

Rets are not that crazy atm. Warriors and DKs are much scarier to fight than a ret.

A ret has...

a) Predictable Burst (ie, when stuff is off cooldown)

b) No snare to reduce speed below 100%

c) No MS

I wanted to applied for the WoW visa as well, think after spending X amount you get free game time. Yeah, too bad it's US only.

Well I had fun facerolling DKs and Rets with my prot war but mage without resil hurts.

Blink out of HoJ, keep enough range so that they can't repentance you since the range is 20 yards. Run away spamming instant (ice lance, fireblast, barrage if you're arcane) get to max range, cast, rinse and repeat.

Yeah that's the way to do it but usually in BGs there's always a few DKs/Rets going for the clothie.

HoJ blinked, CoI blocked, Repentance trinketed, die in 1 GCD. Actually, if I could avoid any classes in arenas, it would be druids lol, especially the resto ones.

Meh, bgs are just giant clusterfucks anyway. So getting gang raped isn't really an indication of anything other than getting gang raped. Well, you can avoid a druid, but he's going to kill you eventually

Rets are one thing I just cannot kill 1v1. They can't kill me until I oom either. Same with DKs, though if they don't death strike like smart people I can get them down eventually by kiting and moonfire.

Well i don't think forcing a tree oom is something easy, just gonna have to pressure them, a lot. When I see one I just pop everything and then refresh and pop everything again, just gotta time the CS and DF at the right moment if I can get his HP down to lower 1/2. Then again, you trees got buffed... -_-

Oomkins are easy but just those Ferals with their bear forms and 30% regeneration + hots... urgh.

Oh how I hope I learn the intricacies of my class when I get back. (Few hours to learn!)
