Seriously? Fresh install and everything, yet every time I get to this damn patch it hangs at 1mb left.



Note: As of typing this, its up to 766mb downloaded.

Blizzard downloader hates you.

Whole company hates me. First they ban my inactive account, haven't even replied to the emails about that even though it's been 5 days. Then this damn downloader hasn't worked twice.

I always thought canceling subscription would be to stop the game time but maybe, just maybe it's to delete the specific account? I've clicked on the button a few times now and everytime it says something like "Are you sure you want to cancel your subscription? Please call us at XXX-XXX-XXX and talk to us before proceeding because we would like to hear from you." But again, them ignoring your e-mails is a bit shitty.

If it were delete account, then it would say account doesn't exist no?

No idea, your situation is like a combination of X-files and conspiracy theories, no logic can be applied.

The blizzard updater is just plain evil.

Try rebooting your pc. That fixed my update issues.
Or disable firewall/virus scanner. Those things can always **** up things.

I believe it applies the patch while its downloading (thats how the installer does it anyway), so maybe at 99% it finishes everything. Just go out for a while, come back and it will probably be done.

In that case, i think the patch is larger than shown and will keep downloading but wont show any further progress. That's just a theory, im probably wrong.

Either that or it's downloading upto 3.1.3 instead of just 3.1.0.

If all else fails, download the patches directly and manually install them.

Already tried manually patching, now the patcher just crashes every time.

Good news: Got the reply from Blizzard.
Bad news: Patcher still sucks ass, and apparently my account was compromised.

If you make them a ticket in game considering your account getting compromised, you should get everything you lose back. As to how long it'd take, it varies from hours to days. Not so bad news there I think.

Yes, just downloading wotlk now before I can log in. Hopefully nothing is missing anyways.
