So far I bought the regular wow, and burning crusade. I am currently level 53, and I've been thinking of buying Lich king so I can finally make a Death Knight. I've gotten two months from the regular wow, and burning crusade, so will I get another month if I buy lich king? I've been hearing from people that I don't. >.>

Second Question, How good are death knights in terms of PVP?

Can't agree more, I hate how the fact Blizzard is making your strength in PvP is based on which icon you click on the damn character creation screen.

That's from level 55 - 58. Which is rather cool, and everyone should do them once. DO DELETE THE DK AFTER THAT THOUGH!

lol. DK's rule AV and every BG before it. Was on WSG once on the 40-49 bracket and the horde side had 9 DKs and a rogue. Couldn't even play right since I was getting pulled from everywhere. -.-"

They are both OP, put it this way, in 1v1 terms, Retridin tops the OP chart, then DK, then the rest. DK vs Ret don't always end up with Ret winning just because they are more OP, (this might sound wrong to others) because skill does matter in PvP. This is not a game where you can hop on another character, read the 10 skills they have, facerolling all over your keyboard and still win without knowing your own class and others'.

I know that makes me sounds like a hypocrite since DKs and Rets are actually capable of winning just by facerolling over the keyboard. How should I say this, take OP as that they are allowed to make more errors before being taken down compare to UP classes... like... Arcane mages since they are so bloody squishy. So let's say if you're a very very good mage, and you know how to counter DKs, them and their insane magic damage mitigation would harm you less if they don't know the right time to unleash them.

TLDR: if you're a good player playing a UPed class, you can still beat a lousy player playing OPed class.

While we're on the topic of WotLK, I don't need to make a new topic.

If I buy wrath, do I need to install it or can I just upgrade my account due to being at patch 3.1.X (for now) and just log in?
Or do I need to install it and more importantly repatch?

You'll have to install it I think hence the CD lol and then patch (not 100% sure though). And don't forget to upgrade your account first.

I was looking forward to play when I bought the game and then I spend a day patching.

Yeah, I've been there as well. Wish I knew the WotLK CD had every patches for TBC, that'll cut down the patch time a lot. And the 3.X patch sizes aren't as huge though.
