So i just had the worst experience tanking H OK. mostly because at the end of this 2 hour run, the healer was at 600k flash of light, 70k holy shock, and 20k holy light...

but neways, we were fine up till the 3rd boss, then we wiped on her 5 god damned times. dps fault as well i guess. i lived thru her 1st enrage by popping both trinks and divine protection, the 2nd enrage i got 2 shotted. we finally killed her by having the dk respec (he was pvp speced...ugh) and every1 blowing all their CDs.

not to mention everytime we tried to run back, the healer would RUN THRU MOBS, omggg i wanted to slam my monitor on her face.

I just can't wrap my head around how utterly terrible that run was.

i didn't get to finish the daily, and the tanking wrists didn't drop again.

where there are good healers there are bad, we had a dps spec dk trying to tank the yesterday wtf was he thinking couldnt get past the first boss in azjol nerub cus of it til i kicked and got a specced tank in

I tank better with a dps spec (dk) than a tank spec, just used to it more I guess.. but old kingdom is :s

OK is the worse, i've done it once with no intention of ever going back....

If the DPS can't put out enough to down the acolytes, turn on a 45 degree angle to where she lands, and kite tank her around her arena. Stay out of her reach 90% of the time, just duck in to hit some threat occasionally. Just run until that enrage disappates and resume tanking her. =]

This is why i hate pugs. The best one i ever did timed CoS and i couldnt of asked for a better group. Healer was perfect and tank kept agro perfectly too, we had me and 2 other DPS, a shadow priest and warrior.

Mount dropped too, but i didnt get it

Rule Number 1 of PUGS: Inspect the entire group before starting (or armory).

Rule Number 2: A good healer and a good tank can carry 3 mediocre DPS. 3 good dps cannot carry a bad tank/healer.

Rule Number 3: Don't PUG, get guildies

Ugh, I still have a bunch of achievements left to do in heroics, but I haven't done any in ages

Offtopic: WTB 250k honor before April 21st. Still need to buy boots and belt for my resto set!

you guys think pugging is that bad? Jeez i pugged all my heroic gear and most of my naxx gear. I've only done CoS a few times but ironically it was only when i didn't pug it that we didn't make it to the special boss that drops the dragon...though one time we made it and the leader ninjad it....but then i ninjad all the loot from the last boss....and i didn't even want the dragon but its the principle of the thing...

mmmm, sausage rolls...they don't have them here in the u.s.

as u can see from my armory, my tank's got some updated gear, but still no OK wrists

Pugging usually isn't bad, but the average skill level of most wow players is somewhere between bad and terrible.

Also, if anyone thinks heroics are hard in wrath, LOL just LOL. I still remember doing Shattered Halls with full kara geared people way back in the day and getting assfucked by the gauntlet boss or the 7 mob pull. You pretty much had to have a paladin healer or they would get 2 shot when the gauntlet boss did his insta-fear with no emote. If you got past that, you had 2 huge pulls in which you needed a disgusting amount of CC so you pretty much had to bring mages or warlocks or hunters. Lucky me we did it with a rogue, 2 mages, warrior and priest/pally (multiple attempts on different days). Oh and did I mention you only had 45 minutes since you were trying to get the quest done for TK attunement?

Then 3.1 hit and they nerfed it, but you still needed to use CC in most heroics. Wrath is a joke.-

ok the bread section rocks but mans working there is a drag. "hello, are you ok with the packing?, do you have a clubcard? are you interested in getting a clubcard?, thats £xxx?" + menial chat inbetween for every customer by the end of the day i want to shoot myself.

every day i work there i get sausage rolls (55p), 6 pack of kick (£1.50), then something sweet.

my point is sausage rolls rock

Just did possibly the worst voa 25 man ever, there were 4 healers, no paladins, mostly shadow priests.. no heals no buffs, >.<

VoA is a joke. Is it supposed to be free loot. I really don't understand why ppl would even bother with a gear check for it which happened to me once or twice. My worst experience in it was when the tank decided that it was ok to keep the boss in that dust cloud and not move him EVER so melee DPS was dying everywhere, it was justa cluster **** but at least we didn't wipe it....

almost got into a pug maly 10man, then i realized i had to go shopping for groceries.

Decided not to do any heroics unless I'm tanking or someone from the guild is lol

5 wipes on the last AN boss

Tank had 24k hp..with fortitude. I got 31k without anything and it's my offspec s:

Old kingdom pugs are the worst. Dear god. They always wipe like 4-5 times on the caster trash in the second half of the instance. The other one is skadi pugs, and of course occulus and loken.

oculus really isn't that bad when u have at least 1 person calling the shots

Forgot to mention another heroic I hate pugging.. Gun'drak, just because of that snake boss. Last party I was in had 3 rogues and a paladin healer, rogues don't aoe, I get spammed with that contriction thing or whatever, snakes start hitting them, they die - I die >.<

imo he's the hardest boss in the whole place. Appearantly some groups stop dps and kill the snake when they spawn but i always just burn the boss....we always end up with everyone nearly dead an dlike 2 ppl left but it works.

i either tank the boss down by the foot of the steps and to the left, and have all the ranged go to the top of the steps, so the snakes have to come thru my consecrate, or i have everyone move on the the 2nd boss, then lure the 1st boss to the 2nd boss' room.
