lol maybe if I needed the gold. But there's no way I'm going to get past 1400 in arena wearing my hateful glad stuff when everyone we come against is in full furious....as in almost every game I've played, you get past a certain point and gear > skill.

You're right in a sense but I think hateful/deadly/crafts should be able to last you up to 1850 where you get the first tier of furious weapon. You fight people near your rating most of the time, if you don't have them yet, I doubt they do. Unless they are very lucky with VoA pugs.

I thought you could buy deadly with honor from the dude in orgrimar without arena points? Besides that, yea, voa's been out for a while, wouldn't be surprised if people got that lucky already. At least they could fill in on the pieces they didn't get from having a high enough 2's rating. Don't forget, when people make a fresh 5's team they're not automatically ranked 1800+, they have to work their way up. We've been against more than our fair share of full furious 5's teams, titles from 2's or 3's and all.

I actually like it, except now that we're past 1k rating, we're coming up against fully geared players. I think if they made the 5's arena areas a bit bigger, it wouldn't feel so much like a zerg fest.
