Also while my first post may have been a bit braggartish by saying that I could probably live through 5 POM pyros it wasn't meant to trash anyone's previous posts. I was simply saying 5 POM pyros isn't exactly god like (and its very much a 1 trick pony).
My warrior alt could live through 5 POM pyros naked (well, with just a shield) as well by using the Spell Reflect + sit spam trick (as all 5 would be reflected and he'd take 0 damage for the 6 seconds I /sat while using spell reflect).
Hell, my paladin alt would bubble and ignore all the damage together.
I'm just showing that 5 POM pyros is a waste of time and the same as a 70 rogue ganking lowbies.
A well played mage is good in arenas, yes. Do I play my mage well in arena? Not really. Do I care atm? Not really. I focus more on PvE than PvP, when I have time, I'll practice pvp a bit more, but I don't have the time now.
No one ever argued that 5 PoM pyro mages would be good at much of anything. I said it's fun. It's especially fun running around BGs and popping my IWIN macro for big numbers, but when I'm doing serious PvP I go frost.
Btw, the warrior would spell reflect all 5 PoM Pyros if they were at the same time even without exploiting a bug since spell reflect can reflect a bunch of spells at once in the same way mages can get shatter combos (both spells go off while the target is still frozen).
The paladin can bubble yes, but it'd take an idiot to waste PoM pyro on a bubbled paladin or even a paladin who might react quickly enough and survive it with bubble.
A well played mage can be beaten by a mediocre warlock much of the time. Not like Druid/Lock takes much skill anyway in 2v2. Druid/Lock/Warrior is an interesting combo to fight as RMP in 3v3, and that's what my team had the most trouble with usually and it could go either way.
Your posts reek of bragging, tone it down a bit and have fun in the biggest thread on SRF
