I did Algalon a few days ago. Got the shield from him and title. We're doing it for achievements and to get the mace for somebody in the guild.

Valks stop after Phase 2, and Valks going in the direction of Defiles means your raid is messing up. Valks don't go in the direction of Defiles, Defiles get dropped in the path of Valks.

Yeah it's true, its a 'casual' guild so not a surprise. I was just mentioning the valkyrs since that seemed to be the most annoying part of the fight... mass confusion when defiles about to hit, defile hitting at the same time as valks(with defile on the picked up person) ooooor defile -> 2 seconds later valkyr takes a person and runs through defile. Vile spirits+defile phase is easy, phase 1 is easy, just the valkyrs + defile seems a bit rng, I'm guessing its not with some proper positioning and less confusion though.

I also did ICC10 and got 11/12. Woop!

Some people say when you do the quest at exalted, the title you get is Bloodsail Fleet Master instead. I couldn't find it anywhere so it's more than likely not true. It would be cool though to have a title reward that scales of off something, like reputation. But the grind would be hell.

Yeah that is not true.

For one, that title doesn't even exist, and two, although it is possible to reach exalted with Bloodsail, after revered there is only one mob that gives rep and he has a 15 minute respawn timer. Also, you can't go past 20,999 Revered unless you save the Admiral title quest for then.

It would take around 5000 kills to reach exalted from revered.

If my calculations are correct, it would take 52 days /played to do it. Roughly 1250 hours.

2 Manned Blackwing Lair on my Paladin with a Fury Warrior. Had to log my Druid for the dog boss though as Holy damage doesn't do anything to him.

Downed Nefarian on the third attempt. First we tried ret/fury but the damage was too much, second it bugged and reset and the third time we downed it with me as Prot.

Got my head from Nefarian. I'm annoyed though because the Paladin shoulders dropped from the Dog boss and I couldn't get them.

I like rushing things. I've been endlessly farming since I posted that, well almost anyway. Few hours sleep and something to eat, then back to farming. I'm now only around 300 short of my goal of 1400 items.
