I started doing pvp, and I really like pvp.. But I had a look at the gear you get from pvp... And it is really crap.

The rare PvP sets are only slightly better then the mixed outland greenies/blues I have now. Some of 'em are even worse. And I don't have the dedication for an arena team. Nor for a raiding guild. See why I started on a Priv. server? ^^

lulz.. i showed the gear my friend gets as drops in raids some pages ago..

You're kidding, right?

The Merciless Gladiator Blade is better than anything you can get before the final bosses of Tier 6 dungeons

Arena has the nicest PvP gear and you fill in the other slots with BG off set pieces.

PvP gear has pvp stats. Lower healing/damage, but much more health/resil which is hugely important for arena.

Yup, with pvp gear I have around 11k hp. (yeah I know, we warlocks can have hp like that...it's crazy though, and thats even without bloodpact) PLUS with my merciless gladiator set
I have additional damage increase (great for my DoTs)
