Pre-paid game cards

Ok so I currently own the EU version of wow and bc.
I now live in Australia and have decided to quit sro and play wow.

Today i bought a pre-paid game card from eb games and knowning theres at least 2 versions of wow(eu and us) i asked does the card work on both. I was told yes.I bought the card and walked home all happy. I open the box(i dont understand why they give you a such a big box for a card),took out the card,scratched it and typed in the code. It comes back with invald code so I retype it, 20 trys later same thing.

Ok now to the point do the pre-paid game cards work on all versions or are there different cards for different versions?

Im going to be pissed if i wasted 40$

Sorry cant answer your quest,but I suggest to play the US Version because their's some Oceanic Realms over there,plus a SRF member(Necrobat) plays on one of those oceanic realm

I would but as my current wow and bc keys only work on eu servers it means i would have to buy the games again and i know a few people from england who play the eu version but no one who plays US (not really active on srf so dont know anyone)

If you haven't used the keys, I would suggest trying to return your games, because EU servers are not great for AU players due to higher ping responses and bad timezones. Though if you have... =/ Much nicer on an Oceanic server where primetime is our night time.

I can answer just as well as they can. Can, and will.

AU/US gamecard codes will not work on EU accounts and vice versa. Also, as you scratched the silver thingy off already, you cannot take it back as it's classed as 'used'. You pretty much have wasted your money unless you buy a new account for $20 more, then use the gamecard on that account.

Furthermore, i doubt you will be able to buy a EU gamecard from anywhere in AU. You will need to buy them online. I live in UK and play on US servers, and thats what i need to do. I could post a link to the site i use, but i wont because they also sell gold.

I do not recommend RAF for a player new to the game. At all. Due to them not having enough money in-game to afford skills, their gear being REALLY out-of-date and them getting bombarded by too much too fast.

I find RAF is great for new players. I got my friend to play and he really enjoys it. Plus i have a main on the realm that can fund things for us.
