Do they ever get it? They SHOULD have active GM's. Spam in town after 10 minits > Ban. This wont help. People will find a way arround it. Just like ..... enc.
When im walking on the street and i see a policeman, im - and the people arround me - allways following the rules. Stoping for Red licht enc. The players need presure from the GM's. If you know you can be banned from botting why would you bot if you know there is a GM INGAME I'm sure that this helps.
They should not prevent the illigal activitys but they should punish the people that are making them. All those anti-scripts takes time. They should put that time in beeing ACTIVE in the game. As some kind of God.
What they do know is letting the server goes its own way. It like the real world. Big problems but "no one" can do shit about it.
yea they will block more words and now i will not be able even to speak with my guildamtes in my language!!! just like word punkts - in my language is point or spot! when i right it all the chat before is gone i have to right it again! GM`s not the server admins more like BOT`s is server admins cuz they own GM`s !!! i hope some gm`s wacht this forum too not only offecial.
Main thing here is the botters...there the main source of lag and are destroying this game... Alot of friends of mine quit the game becuase of the botters. I won't stop playing though... I hope the massive ban list will be created soon.We really need a nice clean up in Oasis
dont even spell time limit then it will happen! Its all getting worse they are promised to ban bots evena made banlist but those hoo are already banned still is botting on servers they actuly dont ban them! they just show of! This game adminstrators are noobs! Bots are 3 times smarter than GM`s and it will always be! ofcorse gold sellers i realy dont care them!
As someone mentioned above, its to prevent spoofing character names on the chat box. There was a bug in the chat window where a user could exploit the system where you can make it appear as though another character typed in a message. If you clicked on the spoofed message you would actually get the spoofed character name too. So it was almost impossible to tell it was fake. The only way to tell was to actually see the chat "bubble" on top of the character's head. There you can actually see how it was done using a newline character.
i dont think the chatting patch will include those old spammers i think they will include the ppl using the alt 255 /n bug, but if they were to patch the gold spammers an easy filter added would be good.

The chat fraud update is to prevent people from using the in game chat system to pose as GMs and pretend to send messages from GMs or other characters.
LOL my friends have about 4 cloned names like one with I - letter i and one with l - letter L in game they are same. And many other difference, so that mean they have to delete chars?
They should remove the global option for player completly.
A friend of mine was hacked some days ago and he had a small amount of silk on his account.
Stealing all his stuff was not harm enough for the guy. he purchased globals with the silk and postet Free-Hack-Sites advertisements.
This way it is something very like a real crime done to the hacked person.
Therefore it should no longer be possible to harm gamer with globals.
