Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

In order to maintain a pleasant payment experience, implementation of PayPal Express Checkout has been completed.
With PayPal Express Checkout, a new system known as hand-shaking has been applied.
Information on hand-shaking is posted below.

Time of Completion : 3/13/2007 17:30 Silkroad Standard Time

What is hand-shaking?
- A secure system that has been implemented for the enhancement of payment security and the prevention of system abusing.
- This system that will match 3 Silkroad accounts (accounts that have attempted to make payments for the first time) and 3 PayPal accounts as a bundle, and will not allow payments to be processed if the payments are processed from any other information that is not in the bundle.
- As payments will not be processed from accounts that are not in the bundle, only 3 Silkroad and 3 PayPal accounts can use our payment service.
- Thus if one tries to make payments for someone else, or through the use of others' cards, he/she may not be able to make payments in the future, so please be aware.

Lol, did you feel lonely?

I hate this stupid stuff they do to "make the game better". Everything they have done lately just seems to make it either harder to log on to actually play the game, or just plain makes it suck.

I actually think that this whole "Hand-Shake" thing is a really good idea.

Binding PayPal accounts to SRO accounts, it will reduce the number of Silk Sellers, IMO.

Yes there are those who Have mltiple accounts, and buy Silk for all of them... but i guess we will just have to wait and see how this effect them, as in. If this effect them significantly or not

I think it's 3 paypals accounts only can pay for 1 sro account.
not 1 paypal account can pay only for 3 sro accounts..
When i tried to buy silk today i got..

Upon payment completion, your paypal account will be added to the list:
You may add up to 3 additional paypal accounts.

So if you have 1 paypal account you can pay for as many sro accounts as you want, but each of them will have only 2 paypal accounts left.

I have no idea what the ..... this means. Can I buy silks from one paypal acc to more sro accs?

btw. Key dont lock my threads for some newb forum, I only go to SRO general discussion. And now no one will answer my question, because it's in place nobody goes to. :roll:

Yeah you still can, but your friends then will have to buy from your paypal account or two others the next time..
I tried now and everytime now i go to buy silk using paypal my paypal email shows and saying i can add 2 more paypal accounts..
Which is kinda lame..
if you got hacked now the hacker would know your paypal account..
I am thinking of start using Click&buy.

No he can't he still needs to know the password..
he'll know your Email registered on paypal..

Also now you can't use unverified paypal i think anymore..
You were able to use only your Credit card using paypal to make payments.
No need to register paypal or anything.But now people should register people, verifiy your address and Credit card or bank account.

Nope..
That's why they implemented it..So people wont sell/buy silk for ingame gold and then chargeback and get alot of whinners everywhere

Once you buy silk with this paypal account on this sro account the paypal account email is written there and you can't delete it..
Also you have 3 paypal accounts max to buy silk by...

ok i get the 3 sro accounts on 1 paypal account.
just tried to buy silk for myself & partner. did mine first = nothing
did her's second everything went through no prob
tried mine again 3 times still nothing
anyone got any ideas ??????

either way round i only use the paypal account to pay for silk on 2 sro accounts so why has it accepted 1 & not the other

LOL I DEFINITELY AGREE WITH YOU. PLUS TO THOSE WHO HAVE A VERY LOW HOURS/MINUTES LEFT FOR THEIR PETS/G.T. IS SOME-WHAT A WASTE OF TIME WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO LOG INTO SRO WITHIN 5-6 HRS. THAN THEY DISSAPEAR WHEN YOU ARE LOGGED ON. THE HRS./MINS. OF PETS/G.T. EXPIRATION TIME SHOULD BE ONLY ACTIVE WHEN YOU ARE LOGGED IN THE GAME.

well you know i havent bought a single batch of silk since i stated playing, but still i have a few questions, how come u have the option "Silk gift" but the dam thing is never lon even if u had 50$ worth of silk on the dam thing.. (a friend put it on his account and got bored and gave me the account, but its a piece of shit, lvl 14 char hybrid

) and my only chance to transfer that silk is gone or not functional....... what a shit
