Apology

Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

We give our apologies for the frequent server downs that have been happening for a few days. Every member of the staff is trying to figure out the cause of the problem and fix it.

We will announce notices about the progress situation, and once the problem is corrected, we will prepare and announce a compensation event.

Due to this server down situation, new servers and updates will inevitably be delayed. We will announce additional notices regarding the precise delayed date when we can confirm a stable time that updates can be implemented.

We give our sincere apologies once again. We will try our best to bring service back to normal, and provide our users with stable service.

Oh I see some of you actually thought the update was going to happen... As I said before, they need to not worry so much on adding new content and fix the current problems that are going on.

Too bad the Christmas event won't actually happen ON Christmas :( Considering the 2nd Thanksgiving event ends December 26th. I find it ironic that a lot of people complain that iSRO doesn't have enough events, but when they do host events, everyone complains about the lag, and not being able to log on easily. Of course if there's a (decent) event going on, a LOT of people will be logged on, causing lag. You can't have it both ways.

It is kinda interesting how they just extended an even to "compensate" their problems, but still that doesnt fix anything.... we r still full of bots, monster scroll abusers (comes with the event) and a lot of lagg. Yes the event was good but, was it worth it??? :?

What you should be asking is: is SRO worth the price of a gold ticket + monkey/squirrel/whatever + clocks + astrals + all other necessities in getting to and playing end game.

I'd hardly say all that stuff is necessary in order to get to end game (I assume you mean level cap). You don't have to buy silk to get to cap. You can level your character just fine, although slower, without buying silk to get monkeys, clocks, astrals, etc. I fully plan to play this game all the way to level 70, or 80 if they actually do raise cap, without buying a single batch of silk. I know I have a long ways to go, but I'll get there.
