That guide is ok, but seems to be a bit biased, with modern Firewalls you can filter packets up/down hence if you use a bot you can limit its use and/or ability to send info.

Updating your XP with windows update does not GUARANTEE you will be hack-safe as it is impossible to be, some XP updates will make you more vulnerable, it is rather a good idea to update other things rather download useless updates. If you are on XP, you should definitely update critical updates if you cant be bothered reading up security bulletins and detailed info on the updates.

I have done most of that and my account still got hacked today. I lost everything besides my wolf and the stuff i got with some silk. Im kind of pissed about it to becuase i didnt' tell anyone my password or anything.

I would like to know how to change your password. It would probably be a helpful tool. Since ive been hacked. jeez i havn't told anyone my password. I just pissed some guy off and im pretty sure it was him who hacked me. So someone oblviously can hack without any personaly info. Besides your name.

good to say they actually face up to there is a big hacking problem in the game at last just too sad it was too late for some and me
