We will give detailed information on the GNGWC preliminary round that will begin from July 24th.
1. Connecting to Exclusive Client
- Preliminary round exclusive client can only be downloaded by the users on the preliminary round participant list.

2. Preliminary Round Schedule
USA – 7/24 ~ 7/26 (must be in game by 13:00 Silkroad Standard Time) Germany – 7/27 ~ 7/29 (must be in game by 04:00 Silkroad Standard Time) Singapore – 8/2 ~ 8/4 (must be in game by 21:00 Silkroad Standard Time)

3. Preliminary Round Procedures
a. Must be logged on to game by the time announced for the preliminary round schedule. (users may be disqualified if they do not log on to game by the given time)
b. The character participant creates will have the following items and stats: Level - 81 Skill points - 500,000 Stat points - fixed at around 70% phy. balance and 70% mag. balance Gold - 100,000,000 Items - Resurrection scroll, HP/MP Recovery potion (large) Also, 8th degree items will be sold at Hotan for participants to purchase.
c. When participants log on, 10 minutes will be given for detailed preparation before battle.
d. When preparation time ends, participants will follow GM's instructions and wait at north gate of Hotan.
e. Free battle will begin under GM's instructions.
f. If appropriate number of participants have not been selected for the main round, or if any participants fail to attend the preliminary round, then a wild card round will be progressed to make up the appropriate number of participants needed for the main round.
* For a smooth preliminary round progress, the participants must follow these procedures, and if they do not follow the GM's orders, they can be disqualified. Therefore, please have a detailed look at this notice before participating in the preliminary round.
4. Main Round Participant List Announcement

i think i get it... During the time where the event starts, each person gets: Level - 81
Skill points - 500,000
Stat points - fixed at around 70% phy. balance and 70% mag. balance
Gold - 100,000,000
Items - Resurrection scroll, HP/MP Recovery potion (large)
and they have 10 min to prepare. Buy what armor they would like to wear/ put there stat points the way they want it. Int/Str. Put sp in the skills they want(there are going to be alot of glavier IMO) And then they fight each other under GMs order. And i guess who ever wins go fight the winner from Germany and Singapore. And i dont think those who cant particpate can watch becuase the contestants have to dl an Exclusive Client which is only to the people that particapted.

Mister_Eric did a good job of explaining - reread his post. Since they have to download a special client - you can probably fight each other without job or cape
hmmm 10min preparation time I'd laugh so hard if one of the participants went out killed a monster and got a SOSun instantly...so much for fair competition.

No mobs no drops. Only gear comes from the special npc. Characters will be lvl 81 with fixed stats meaning we will all be fighting as 50/50 hybrids. Gear is all 8th degree with same pills and pots we have now in isro. We are supposed to meet up with a gm at the north gate of Hotan so i'm guessing they're putting the battleground up there. Or we will be using one of the inactive teleport gems that are to the north of the city. You won't see any glaive or blade users at all in the competition since we have to be hybrids. The special client looks the same as the normal one so far but I can't sign in since the only server listed (GNCNW) is in "check" status. This should be quite interesting since everyone will be on equal ground with npc lvl weapons and gear. I'm torn between trying a sword shield or a bow ice. With any and all skills available i think all builds weapon wise will be almost equal it'll come down to the skills you use in battle.

With 500,000 sp you should be able to make an awesome build.

Well think of the video's they've made, like fighting Yarkan.
I think they will do that, but add special effects like a circling camera. At least I hope they do

buying npc clothing is like 20 secs. Your given pots so you don't have to buy any. Getting your skills will take like what - 5 mins? 10 mins is plenty of time.

yea of course .. one of our guild a friend of mine was in this competition .. he wasnt able to do this .. so dont tell sth like that when u never were in this situation ...
