LOL ****. Was gonna go check the list and compare names on rev6 to see what exactly got banned. Anyone have the Venus list so I can check? Don't wanna wait til tomorrow.

im still happy with it, at least no server traffic atm..... i'd still go for banning gold bots coz logging in is a pain when the server is crowded.....

Have anyone being thinking where the list comes from?

Well, I believe they actually comes from the players' submition. I don't think anyone in Joymax will login with GM account, go around places and start taking screen shot of any players supected of botting.

The best of all is the process of filtering:-
1) Gold bot --> Ban!
2) Player bot without silk ---> Ban!
3) Player bot with silk ---> Not Ban!!!

So out of so many gold bot, how many was submitted by player? Nowadays who will actually screen shot a gold bot and subimt to Joymax? The answers is very few.

Remember, Joymax will not ban any player without screen shot of proof that this player is botting. That is why the list mostly contain player bot who don't buy silk and not a whole list of gold bot

is this really all the bots? i feel joymax is working with some of the gold botting companies. hmm pls check venice in karakoram. full of damn botts, and also this aint fair also 1 ting i notice is that, they ban only clientless bots. what about isro bot tbot and agbot? what happen there? i cold stil see more botts. this is really frustrating. hope you people wil realise what joymax is upto. peace out yall...

Wrong. You could send them screenshots, detailed video with timestamps and locations, in depth documentation, and hold their hands bring them to the PC and say "there he is" and they would be like "awwww so cute". And walk away.

Have you read any of pred's recent posts? He was actually a GM for SRO till not to long ago. Some people choose not to believe what he says. But if you think about it. He only makes sense.

Truth: Joymax isnt willing to do a massive bot ban on actual players. They have become dependent on the revenue those abusers roll into the game. Any financial loss in the company will start cutting back production/jobs/etc etc. Silkroad will only go SLOWER with service and updates.

Truth: Joymax is so horrible the DIRECTOR quit. He's off to another game company as well. After I was fired from Joymax (wrongful discharge due to a moronic Korean boss) 3 other employees have quit AFTER me. USA office is basically dead.

yes i agree with you, i also read it in a forum in the official page of isro, he was a gm, the real reason joymax isnt banning real people botting is that, they get more sales, from silk buyers, the more botts in server the more trafic, now the more trafic the more people will buy premium tickets. this is the truth. isro isnt the same as it was b4, it used to haev no botts, nicer people and fun. but now. hahaha, this game could be called bot road. i jsut wanna say that, if joymax is doing this then they might as well make it pay to play. cuz i find its like that now. 1 more ting , why dnt they upgrade their game guard, in wow ul get bann 1time if they notice you botting. thats how good their game guard is. so pls, joymax make it fair for every one. most of my friends are quiting because of damn botts. they palyin perfect world. sro is a nice game, just 1 prob botts. so pls if possible ban all users who use bots. ul stil get money from legit ppl who buys silk.

The 18 chars banned from Babel look like actual players O.o.. every other server just has 400 gold-bots... very odd

There is a total of 23,079 bot banned stop crying and be happy for a time lol
