do you guys even know how much gms work? maintaining a game like silkroad takes a lot... my friend in my server is epin seller, he knows gm, he told me they are very busy, they cant do all in once... and ppl, this is the same shit as before ^^ bots banned, 1 week later all comes back.. like always

dont make me laugh, if they are over runned with work and cant be competent , then they should hire employers, and dont tell me they dont have money for that.

For a company that makes a lot of money from forcing people to buy Premium Tickets, their employees obviously lack the essential skills and do not deserve to work as a GM. Here's a good solution that nearly all MMORPGs and some Online FPS games do to prevent bots from coming back: USE PUNKBUSTER OR GAMEGUARD. Simple as that really. Besides, I don't think it takes that much effort to utilize a program that detects 3rd-party programs around potion sellers. If the Rev6 team could create and operate a program that automatically lists people's items/guilds/job names and records unique spawns almost instantly, I'm pretty sure Joymax could get rid or greatly reduce the number of cheaters in the game if they want to.

Here is my ideas about the issue:

1) Joymax should give evey bot player and Goldbots PK Status for a week before banning them. So we can kill'em all, earn exp, sp and items which fall off from them. Wouldn't be nice to kill them and get all SOX stuff from them?

2) Deliver the SOS items which bot players in their account to the legit people as a gift or by letting them have by killing the monsters.

3) There should be a reporting function in action window works this way: Click on the user who is botting and click on 'Report' icon in action window.

4) Hire more GM's and let them REALLY investigate the reported users and make them grind in the game as regular players with regular names. (So they can control everywhere and have the real feeling what KS means!)

Why they dont ban all botters first and then announce that newsment?
Now every player bot can make a break till the "massive-bot-ban" is over.
Its cool that a lot of gold bots will be banned, but they come back... and that really fast.

Anyway... its better than nothing.

They've already made the list, they are just waiting to release it, like the other lists. If they ban botters + altered clients again, alot more people will be banned then just botters. Seems like so many people I know use the no-d/c client ...

yep.. it's like saying "for those who thought botting is legal because we removed the botting section from our ToS, you are wrong(though we dont know why), stop botting now (and maybe buy some silks, we have a nice silk bonus on event now) and you'll be removed from the list". I think it will take a week at least until they publish the final bot list.

Yea i +1 for that.. those who make gold bots just punches the KB and click enter then start the bot.. simple.. But if they had input a filter they had to THINK of a name wich has a meaning, wich they might not bother to do!

3 and 4 will be a catastrophe. just imagine letting 12 yr old noobs to make false reports, just because they think it's funny. Moreover, people might report others just because they didnt talk to them nice or other stuff like that. Joymax doesnt want that headache for sure.

There should be an obstacle on the bot path in every town. As the bots rewrite the bot to adjust for it, it should be moved weekly at inspection.
