It's not as easy as it seems.
The previous massive gold-bot ban was along the lines of SRO coding being able to detect multiclient / clientless bots (log into 1000 SRO accounts with just one computer (?) ever see 6 bots working together?). I would guess they let that run for a month and compiled their ban list. That was a GUARANTEED proof of illegal activity.
So far, a similar player-bot detecting code hasn't been made or something, we don't know. The bot company also probably has ways to prevent the SRO system from detecting it to resemble normal-players that's why it's so widespread and bots don't sweat it. I really don't know.
Manually watching bots to get stuck, jump back from KS, PMing bots, making Notices on bots, etc, are NOT GUARANTEED methods of player bot detection. There are many excuses for those methods (like not paying attention, too busy grinding). Bots also don't get stuck every 5 seconds, sometimes they don't get stuck at all depending on the area so GMs might have to watch for at LEAST 15 minutes. Again, it's not indisputable proof.
The reason why players can spot bots easier and are "sure" of a player bot is because the player grinds there for hours upon hours, day after day, at any time of day and see the player there impossibly on all the time and getting stuck MULTIPLE times, etc.
