An intriguing event where through the jewelry boxes you pick up from hunting monsters you can get them exchanged by the NPC So-Ok for bountiful gifts.

- Party Matching System Update
No longer will you have to shout in order to find party members!
A system where even in the field you can easily join a party!
A one click system where you can search for parties with available slots and join automatically.

Update Schedule: mid March to early April (dates may change due to development schedule)

- Game Text Complete Revision
If you have been troubled by the vague and difficult text in the game, suffer no more! We are adding and changing much of the text used in the game.

For goodness sake how many times do we have to say no resets!
Unless they say "Were gonna wipe the server." on the official website, then they wont.

lol wow cool another so-ok event like the xmas one.

So-ok is an NPC in all 3 cities, you have to collect jewel boxes from monsters and you take them to her for special items. Over xmas time you had to get 10 jewel boxes and take them to her and she exchanged them for santa clothing, if you gave her all 3 pieces of clothing and 10 jewel boxes she gave you a santa set to wear. Babel is the only server that doesn't have them, they'll become more rare as time goes on though. On Xian I have both a red and blue santa set

I been waiting for level to get Spirit bow level 2. I forgot its BOW skill and not lightning. So I brought my lightning mastery up as soon as I leveled; and couldn't afford spirit bow now.

well last roll back they added 300% exp gain. 200% money drop and item drop. so they make up for it.

item mall will kill me. i have no money. people with money or spoiled kids whose parents will feed them will dominate me. they will but double exp scrolls everyday. get to lvl 60 faster than i can make it to lvl 40.

if i had money i would be all in but im poor.

if you have a heart plz send Jook one dollar. if everyone does this, i prolly wont spend it on silk road, ill prolly pay off school bills. but you will make one college students day.

i accept cash, master card, visa, and american express. no out of town checks please.

thank you. in the end you will sleep better at night and have a happier life.

Im just wondering...with all this talk of rollback and official server and all that, is there any definite word on charges in the future. Money isnt the issue its just that i hope they have a flexible payment method. In any case i was under the assumption that it was "free for life"

It is free for life. There will never be a charge or subscription for playing the game.

Players who choose to may purchase ingame items from the cash shop. This, I hasten to add, is by no means required to play the game decently, and not purchasing items will not hinder your success in the game.

As far as I know, the pets they are going to offer are a monkey and a wolf. The monkey will pickup your gold and loot items and will heal you. The wolf attacks your target.

I don't suppose anyone's considered the possibility that game mechanics will work in favour of those who buy from the item mall, or that drops will be adjusted to make purchases from the item mall more favourable ?

Maybe I'm just being cynical... Then again a successful business model needs income so I can easily imagine that there are unwritten advantages to making purchases from the item mall. 2x experience scrolls are self-explanatory in their advantage, but I wouldn't be surprised if the game favours those who have made any item mall purchases :wink:

There is no point unless the customer is aware of the benefit. Silkroad is addictive enough as it is, they can simply rely on the many "committed" gamers with disposable income without resorting to witch doctoring.

bakermaster is right methinks. there are so many people that WOULD pay for
2x exp scrolls, not to mention the other stuff, that i doubt they'd have to
mess with the mechanics at all. i figure when they open it up, the money will
flow in for a little while at east, until people get over it and it settles down
some. after that, they can see how it's going and adjust from there.
