Needed: Artists Corner Moderator
Art forum moderator
This position is different from a typical moderator roll. The art forum does not need much moderating or discipline. This forum needs someone to help others and keep it organized.
This person would:
Be one of our regulars from the forum.
Have experience creating various works and art
Offer constructive comments to users posting works
Understand our forum rules and copyright rules
Have time to spend here and maintain this forum.
Never flame or insult anyone - ever.
Some tasks to be done:
Building a sticky with links to various popular editing programs, tools or addons
Building a sticky with tutorials for those programs, art tutorials, color matching tutorials and anything else helpfull
Maintaining those stickied guides.

Well I would love to be the artist mod. I try to be as helpful as I can with other artists, and I try to do constructive critizsm. Noone ever likes someone trashing their work, but I have always believed in reinforcement like:
"this particular siggie is not eye pleasing because red and green don't compliment each other. green and purple compliment each other very nicely, and gives a striking look to it."
Flaming in an artist board is highly inappropriate and I have never seen the need for it. When I became a mod on another board, I did start in the artist section, and even today it is usually the first place I go to in the mornings.
Even now here, usually the first place I go is the artist section as I love the creativity of the artists there.

I would like to be the art moderator, i have over 2 years of artwork and digital graphics applications. I know many tutorial sites and can provide tutorials by myself to help begginners. I can give info on many different programs (Photoshop, 3DMax, Paint
and Flash. I have been moderators on different forums but none as big as this so i would consider it a big privelidge.
Thankyou,
Shox

I would like to be the Artist Section Moderator.
I have expierence, in making sigs, and others and still learning to make more. I get on these forums everyday to see what every1 makes and comment on them. I would Sticky Topics that should be stickied, and if people would like something to be Stickied, If its "Sticky Material".
I know alot of people in the Artist Section which gives me knowledge of the people, and how they react to different types of things. I would Delete all the threads that are about selling gold, items, and things of those sorts.
I will make sure, that people dont start flame wars, and insult other members.
I am an American Soldier! (lol jk)
Bye, if anything else you need to know tell me.

I am also wanting to applicate.
I'm using photoshop now for over a year. Before I started playing SRO I did a lot of designing and I have been around on several graphics forums. Gamerenders for example. But also a lot of Dutch forums. When I started playing SRO I stopped designing for 2 or 3 months. But since this summer I'm back in designing again!
I can also give people tips to get there sig or artwork look better. I got some experience on the GFX forums where I have been active (and still am).
I'm also browsing this forums a lot. I take a look at least three times a day. And when I have time I also like to make requests for members.
A negative point can be that my English isn't the best on the forums. But let it be multicultural!
Or maybe my age is too low. (16) Some forumowners think that's a problem.
Here are 3 sigs I made last weeks:
I hope you are interested.
Edit: Here 2 requests I did this night, there you can see other work from me: click1 - click2

I'm up for it
I'm always on SRF, mostly Artists Corner and OTL, I am a Gimper and make sigs regularly
.I can also help make useful stickies about guides, programs, brushes, fonts, C4d's and anything else needed to make decent graphic art
(sigs
) I, with your permission Ryoko, will try to get more artists into showing off their talents
I never say anything bad to users posting their work......except once, with that Chris guy
, long time ago
I think constructive criticism is better, and in the end helps the person more than a comment saying "Dude WTF? lol teh n00b sigz."
