that lvl 80 wolf looks weird, he could rip someones jugular out in 1 second but i prefer the lvl 40. How sick would it be if they did alow the the wolfs to be ridden on lol, like wolven raiders. ride into battle swing a glavie from your wolf while it takes chunks out of the target. MINT my friend !

1. first of all, orange i HARD TO READ it makes my eyes hurt so i changed it to black so other readers will read your post and then mine and then say "Bah... why did i read it in orange and destroyed my eyes when i could read it in black 1 post below..."
2. you do realize what that means xD?
if you can fight while being on ur wolf, you will be almost invincible to monsters, because wolves have tons of HP (they get hurt fast, yes but they STILL die less quickly then YOU die)...
i think the lvl 80 wolf should be able to be ridden of but not fightning on it, that would ruin the fun in the game :P

Suppaman wrote:holy crap guys where do you get the money to buy these wolves. they are 1 mil each!! and its 50k if they die! the most i can get in a day is like 20k. Besides paypal, where do you guys get the money. Do the lvl 35+ monsters drop a lot of money or what?

Regarding the money, if you sell your droppings in a stall in stead of to the NPC you can get enough money once you are about lvl 18 - 22, tip when you have diner set up the stall in that time you might just sell some stuff

Yes 50 k to res it, and if it wasn't for our guild leader I would have been broke. after spending my last gold to buy one it died on me. I did not know I could use the transport potions to safe it.

But now I am fine and my wolf levels resonably well. Bought it at lvl 20 for 1.1M which is cheap
The wolf is worth it as it has some thousands more HP than yourself so it can safe your but. as long as it is small keep it close and put it on "not attack"

If you summon the wolf only when farming then your wolf will prabably level before it dies from hunger, when it levels the bar is full again.

At lvl 40 the wolf will changes shape, and only then. Unless on our server higher levels are allowed and it is treu what they say it changes at lvl 80 again

Must fun is with the charming button, a small wolf will roll over and a big one will howl. nice effects!

Wolf Knowledge.

Grey Wolves can be purchased at the Stable NPC for 1 million gold.
White Wolves can be purchased through the Item Mall for 130 Silk.

Grey Wolves can be sold and traded, but White Wolves cannot.

Silver/Gold EXP tickets affect a Wolf's EXP gain. If you have a Gold ticket, the experience your wolf receives from a kill is doubled (100% extra). With a Silver ticket, he gains 50% extra.

* Being in an EXP distribution party affects a Wolf's EXP gain also.

To name your Wolf, first summon it, and then open the Information page. Click the button labelled "Create name" and enter a name for your pet. This cannot be changed once set, so make sure you don't typo! All names must be unique, so if someone else has already taken that name you wanted, you cannot use it.

Wolves cannot be summoned/unsummoned 20 seconds after the end of combat. They also do not have an inventory and cannot carry items.

To heal a Wolf, use transport recovery pills. There are also special 'status abnormality' potions that can be purchased at the Stable NPC.

Wolves have a hunger bar. This meter starts at 100% and slowly drops at a rate of 1 point every 3 seconds. If the hunger bar reaches 0%, your Wolf will die. To avoid this, buy HGP potions from the Stable NPC. The hunger bar is frozen when the Wolf is unsummoned.

Did your Wolf die? Go to the Stable NPC and buy the Grass of Life item. Don't let him die too often, these things are 50k gold each!

dere is 1 find i found out.. its if u got a cape for pvp wid u and ur wolf is in danger if u put de cape on it will automaticly pick up and put ur wolf in ur invo so its safe :P

Hi all!
I have a white wolf lvl 23.
My questions are:
Can it defend itself, can he attack by himself and when in defense mode, why dont he defends himsel?
I know I can command him to attack... but thats it?
When he is attacking, why dont the follow button makes him stop and come back?
Something I should know about?
And about those hungry points, can it fill itself by making him kill monsters?

It doesn't attack (defend) on its own because then it would just be a bot. Hunger can only be healed with the HGP potions. Setting him to passive and using the follow command will stop him from attacking.

Well i think having a wolf is very helpful to nukers. This is because say i 95% hit a Hyeog my wolf will finish it off without me even wasting pots on them.

Is my Wolf still useable when he reaches/passes my LVL? (I don't think so, but not sure) I ask cause I'm 24, he's 23....and they LVL a heck of a lot faster then I do with my +6 Gap....

He's quite helpful to have around, really speeds up the kills and I can send him to go kill things himself without worry as long as its not a Mob....

AFAIK, you can't use it if it's a higher lvl than you are.

Yeah the wolf is a great help. think about it like this its like having a 2d person that gives u sp and exp. I have 3 ppl and all 3 have wolfs. when ur doing quests it greatly speeds them up. When i was doing the 1000 blood flowers i stood in 1 spot and sent my pup to 2 others i knocked that quest out in 2 hours, easy. Plus when your getting malled by 3-4 mobs you can sick him on one to save you all the extra damage and quite poss. save your life.
For the record he gets bigger at LVL 40 and yes he will die and its expensive to rezz him, but think mines only LVL 42 and has 7500 hp there tough as nails. Also U might not want to let that HGP run low it makes them weaker for some reason and they get hit harder and loose way more health when its HGP runs below 20%. over all i wouldn't trade mine for anything there the best. Just 1 more thing Hunters/Thief/Traders/ Love to target your dog first, so its best to just put him away when ur jobbing.

To answer ur question and add a bit to that guide:

The wolf wont get past ur level, he just stays at 99.99% until u level up, so just be sure u have enough HGP when u farm.

Can anybody confirm if the wolf grows again at lev 80 ?

Okay, do I keep my 1 mil plus that I have ground and sold for since Lvl 1 and wait to buy a decent SOS weapon or do I drop it on a wolf that will in the long run help me with SP and XP. I have a nice 3rd degree spear with a crit of 11 and +% phys and mag dmg/reinforce so I can kill green mobs quickly and efficiently not even using skillz and MP(unless I have 3-4 on me at once) and silver are pretty easy with imbue and I am currently grinding for SP with a +6 gap.

Secondly, it might have been asked but I didn't see it answered but if you have your pup in defense/follow mode will mobs attack it and will it come out of defense/follow mode to attack mode much like when you are sitting down and you are attacked you automatically stand up? I don't want to take him out against black/white tigers if they are going to attack and kill my little pup right away (that is if I drop the mil versus saving for an SOX wep).

Oh and lastly the 1 HP/3sec hunger thing, did I read the recovery pot is $2K? So how much HP does it start with? I hope quite a bit or you are going to be using quite a few $2k (if that was the correct price) pots to keep your wolf alive....heck you could use 10 of them in a 2 hour grinding episode which would = $20k and let's say you only picked up $50K, now subtract any pots you have to repurchase from your own use.....whoa not only does that baby cost a mill, he can then keep on costing you.

The Answer is simple: Buy a Wolf !

He helps u a lot killing and leveling faster and he grows really fast till lev 20-25. He will be still attacked even if put on defense and he never autoattacks. Dont worry about hunger, u wont have to feed him till ca lev 35 as he levels faster then he hungers till then.

- one mill for a sos weapon ? :? No way :P

I am definately about there. Last and most important question: I have been popped (usually from behind by NPC thieves spawning on a caravan that snuck up on me. I have died everytime. So will they attack my pup (in defense mode), will he attack them in offensive mode, if I die will the NPC thieves then start attacking him. If we both die, then I have to resurrect him I assume I can res him out in the field or back in town and lastly is there a time limit on when I can res him ($50K ouch)....ok questions instead of my indicated one question. Thanks all.

Well, I bought one, have got him up to level 14 pretty quickly and love the company and having him help me quickly take down mobs.....HGP starts at 10000 and expires at 1/3 seconds so if you do your math that is 20 HGP per minute and you got 10k so you got 500 minutes to level up which resets it to 10k .....oh yeah 500 minutes = to over 8 hours. I have yet to need to pot him since as stated above they are tough and have a ton of HP, granted I am only fighting black and white tigers and the occassional champions/giants so he hangs with me or I send him off against a single tiger but anyway, I have to agree they are great fun. Well, worth the 1Mil ....oh Naboo......someone was GIVING AWAY yes read this correctly GIVING AWAY SOS armor and weapons yesterday so yeah I guess I don't need to spend the 1 mil on a SOX wep....LOL

The wolf only changes size when it reaches lvl 40, they are the same size all the way up to 40, "IF" you guys think they change well they dont and by how much ??? 0.1 mm ?? in shape (thats not a change)

wolfs are so wworth to keep them cuz they will tank with u if ur a pure str, nukers really dont need a wolf cuz they will hav killed the mob be4 the wolf reaaches it or they will die before the wolf and so the wolf will go to very little use.

White wolves really look ugly, they really look like a big bunny, =]
grey wolf looks like a real wolf and theres no difference in artibutes between them, they are the same strngth and hav the same power, they change at lvl 40 (same as the grey wolf)

they are also helpful when your doing a trade run and stuff so u dnt hav to get off ur camel to kill the theif or if ur chasing a player theif and theres an npc theif atakin ur transport u can command ur wolf to atak the npc thief BUT keep in mind that wolves they will still die even if ur pvping or a strong monster ataks him or a npc theif ataks him e.t.c ....

i had a wolf lvl 14 it had more HP than me when i was lvl 17 .... xD
my build is pure str glavier and i got some STR's in my gear and weapon and they still beat me in HP while im 3 lvls ahead of him, so imagine whats there HP gonna be when the hit lvl 80

LOL .... u CAONNOT ride your wolf even if its lvl 140, if u guys think that u can ride them because theres a ride tab beside the auto atak and agressive tabs, well your wrong cuz its not a horse and imagine that ?? (riding wolves) and they will not change at cap lvl or lvl 90, wolves will no lvl if youre under their lvl they will stay at 99.99% until u lvl bt u still will be able to use it.

hope this helped and peace out for now =]
