Then from the shadow came out what looked like to be a demon, it was clad in ragged clothes and his face was covered with black silk. I have never seen someone move as swift as that strange man. Then someone in our ranks shouted Assassin!! The assassin rushed to the merchant like a diving Falcon, eyes on target and daggers in hand! And with one stroke he slashed his dagger across the merchant’s neck and at the same time our torches snuffed out. We never heard the merchant cry or shout after the attack.
