I don't understand.
Everyone waits for, and wants the banlist.
Then instead of being happy when people got banned, they are upset
I am happy. I love reading the new list!
I do feel kinda bad for Toxic; twice he has let my guilds caravan go while multistar trading. Thats more than I can say for a lot of people on my server.
(hes nice to me but your a complete ass hole; wish you were banned instead kinda thing)
But ah well. Buh bye.

"On a side note, its good that some gold farmers got banned. The effect they have cannot be seen immediately but in the long run you will see how they effect the economy of the game. Although banning about 13 out of 35+ gold farmers is...is...not good enough."
As far as I know all they do is whisper the person to see if they answer back. Yea, takes time to confirm they bot eh? EVERYDAY, since I train by ishades and mujs, I make about 8 bots murderer in only 30mins. Not hard at all so don't even come with they have a life excuse. This is there job, to maintain the game.
And nobody is complaining and whining. Everyone knows they could have done better. That is the reason for all the negative comments.
Sorry, I didn't meant to take your point out of context or anything, it just seemed to be the best comment where I could fit my little statement in

So when the next list takes five or six weeks to arrive, after repeated promises by Joymax that they take this seriously and will ban all botters, and it's smaller than this one, you'll still be happy?

At the very least, I'm glad they banned shu_du... I reported that guy a long time ago when he was still starting on penons. I remember having a great conversation with him too (in the form of PM's)
me: "hey"
him: "hello"
me: "how long have you been on penons for?"
him: "hello"
me: "ah, a botter i see... nice to meet you"
him: "hello"
me: "happy botting, you piece of shit"
him: "hello"
@moley - you misunderstood what i said. I said they could ask a player how to detect bots, not who are the bots. The most incriminating evidence is watching the countless bots follow a bot path to their grinding spot. However, by the time they hit caves they usually use reverse return scroll or maybe even manually walk there, then turn on the bot. If a player can detect a bot and make them into a murder, why can't the GM's do this? If a player can easily detect 10-20 botters in a single day in 4-5 hours, why can't a GM do this? No player would allow themselves to become a murderer while chasing an offender. Every single time someone makes someone else a murderer in a cave with the offender dog trick, you can be almost certain that they're botting.
Alas, I'm quite sure the bot makers will fix this oversight as they've fixed the bot from attacking protectors. So please abuse this bot bug as much as you can!!!
On a side note, why should we have to take these extreme measures fighting bots? We shouldn't have to police the servers, it should be the jobs of the GM's. Maybe the GM's actually catch a lot more botters than we know, but Joymax limits them to how many they can actually ban. Maybe we're blaming the wrong people... it could be not the GM's fault but Joymax's fault instead (well, the GM's managers).

Conspiracy Theories Abound...
Its not that joymax gets paid off by Gold Botting Companies... its that Joymax isDOING the gold botting to maximize profits. Think about it, if you ran Joymax what would stop you from running gold bots and selling the gold on E-bay? There would be nothing to stop u...

Joymax can create an account at any level, with any items and as much gold as they want. Why would they use bots to achieve this when they can do it instantly? Come on, think about it a bit please.
A question I have is why don't Joymax contact E-Bay and ask them to ban the selling of gold and other items. Other companies get E-Bay to prevent the sale of things so why not Joymax?

Joymax does contact E-Bay to have auctions removed which are selling characters, accounts, items, gold. It is difficult to find every auction, and to get them removed quickly.
