So, am I reading this wrong, or now is it going to cost personal SP to convert (or donate) GP?

If so, that is really not cool.

You still get GP by grinding. This just allows you to double your GP by grinding 100 SP, and then donating that 100 SP for another 100 GP, instead of using it for skill or mastery levels.
