Good against monsters but pretty pointless against players I would imagine, it will save you a few hp pots, best used with a bow or if you can keep the agro' of a giant on you while you use spear/glaive.

Got to watch out for those groups of player thieves running mobs onto your camel/you.

Also those really high lvl player thieves with a transport, spawning 1 or 2 star red npc thieves & bringing them across your path.

Died to that latter method twice.
