i have adelphia and with out my howto i can't play at all eather i'll look for some more proxy's if some one posts they want more to try i'm not gonna do it if no one is trying this any more tho.

i have a friend that plays and it worked for him after the update so i had him set me up a socks5 proxy on his computer. All thease others i've posted just for you guys that i have spent ALOT of time looking for. I can't give out the one i'm useing.

Added new proxy's havent tested em all with game but did with a proxy tester they where in working order when i checked. But keep in mind some of them might have same ip/dns issues and might not work with game even tho the proxy works.

Ok.. there has been like 50 posts about this most people will say it's a dns table update issue and it will resolve it self.. I dissagree i have tryed like 20 diffrent dns servers and still am not about to get the site or the game going.. now i could be wrong and allll thos dns servers i tryed where...

sorry it's so hard to get in but it does not surprize me thos proxy's where slow befor i posted them.

Now god knows how meny people are on them.
i left my proxy checker going all night and dident fins any new one but i will look for more today.

Yeah i'm gonna go to bed now it's like 2 am... if you know how to find socks5 servers please find working ones and post them for everyone..

socks5 is just a type of proxy there is http socks4 and socks5, a proxy is basicly a filter from you to who you connect to.

So you connect to the proxy and the proxy connects to silkroad so as far as joymax knows it's the proxy connecting to them not you.

Try the other ones not much else you can do...untill i find more proxy's....i've test over 500 now. and gotten 3 to work.

the blue is network traffic on the proxy and the have to wate for the play button to appear.. "proxy is slow" You can try useing one of the other 2 i found and posted dipinding of server load and where you are and where they "the proxy" is one of the others might be faster for you.

i guess it could be takeing to long to send the info and it times out because of the proxy thats the only thing i can think of.

i'm looking for more proxies...

sounds silly but make sure you don't have caps lock on wile typeing user name and password. no reason that i can see that proxy would cause a bad uname/password error.

i edited main post... made it a bit simpler and added the new exe rule in there for thos of you who want to try and play if you find a better socks5.

Ok yeah that really make me feel good about staying up hours trying to help everyone else ... and it acctually is usefull if you get off your ass and find your own socks5.
