Im getting a Game Hack Detected error when i try to play SRO, i have Reinstalled etc but nothing has helped, i have no viruses / spyware whatsoever and no hacks.

Any idea what i can do to cure GG?

127.0.0.1 localhost and instead of it write this: 222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com localhost

stupid, dont delete the localhost entry, just change it so its two lines like so:

127.0.0.1 localhost
222.111.150.111 gwgt1.joymax.com

Actually you need to set OptIn to AlwaysOff in boot.ini to turn off DEP via the hardware as well, it then gives a 220 gameguard error and a strange spam message then the ????

Right click on My Computer
Click Properties
Click Advanced
Under Performance click on Settings
Move to the Data execution tab
Tick the top box only turning it on for essential system settings.

It should now work fine!

argh, thats a bit of a pain, i shall see if i can change the boot order or stop some things running at startup, if i could run WhenTrust first, that randomizes memory allocations so it should allow SRO a free memory location... hmm
