No, it is not necessary to sp farm. But if your build needs a lot of skills and masteries, than i would recommend it. If not don't do it, you can make a grat char. even without sp farming. If you decide to sp farm, then do it with a lvl 9 gap, because with it u get the biggest amount of sp that you...

On the ext see what it'd be like if you duplicated it (make sure all the texy layer copy is 1 layer) and give it a 1px stroke, same color as text, around 25% opacity. It might look better.
