it's not that i don't know anything of what's inside a pc, but the problem is that in october i will surely buy a notebook for my personal needs and this one will be unused and almost surely sold or recycled, so i don't want to buy an expensive GPU (also because i would have to upgrade other parts) ...

It' s probably a hardware related issue, I have same OS, and I' ve used all media files that are available for dl, everything worked fine. U should check pc requirements on silkroadonline.net if u think like this, it's very strange as till i unistalled ISRO to make space for VSRO, it worked perfect...

my OS is Win XP Professional SP2 but updated to the latest patches
