My guess the V is for Vector and the S for Sig

I prefer tinypic.com over imageshack.us, on imageshack the load times are awful and you often have to refresh if you clicked a thumbnail that doesn't do a direct link to the picture

It has nothing to do with realism, it has to do with blending the render in, that goes for ALL sigs, and about any piece of art..

You still need to blend in your render mate, this way it looks really awful and it's distracting

Really cool sig, didn't notice the black dot till ice said it. Also I don't think the text placement is off, looks like you had a bad choice of font and maybe just plain black isn't really cutting it
