Maybe because it's a US-located server it won't be as bad. Assuming most botting comes from asian and eastern european countries.

According to Rev6 at http://www.rev6.com/staticcapacity/ Azteca only has about 3000/3500 right now, seems pretty good. Would you still recommend it over the servers with an even lower population like Petra or Aral?

That's a very good observation, but unfortunately the redirecting error happened with every browser I tried. Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera. I'm just glad they fixed it so I can go back to complaining to them through the customer support, lol.

You have to turn on autoshare. The only downside is sometimes you'll drop one with the other guy's name on it.

Wow, that really shined some light on me. Would have never guessed people that age would play Silkroad. I think it's really cool, but It's just hard for me to see that I guess considering most people that age I know can hardly even install a game, lol.

Just in the past week, the few Bots that I have seen on Venus have almost all disappeared. They are really cracking down on them now. Oh and If I kill a bot by attracting thieves, do they just get stuck in town? Or are they smart enough to go back outside after they re-spawn?

If you don't buy the gold then there will be no reason for people to Bot it.

I am however still concerned about regular bots that people use for grinding, and people being banned for that too now? Those are also a big problem.

I'm not sure what causes it, but your comp. sounds like it's minimizing it but not pulling it into the taskbar. But you can solve it by playing Silkroad in windowed mode. You can access windowed mode in the options in-game. You have to scroll a bit to find it, and check the box marked "windowed...

Are you running any other programs while your playing the game? If so those tend to fill up your CPU usage causing any game to freeze or crash. Close out of everything before playing. If that's not the case I suggest you defragment your drive. That might clear up any speed problems. Also do a virus ...
