I would calculate them as such:

Physical absorption -

ring = 22.4 * 1.61 = 36.064
necklace = 29.7 * 1.61 = 47.817

Just using fast shot u can lure multiple monsters back to party very fast and from out of range compared to any other character's luring capability or attack.

X-bow should be only STR, the weapon has no magic attack. I play a few characters, it just gets boring staying with same build day after day.

If the pet is full and still picks up gold, then before a big kill like a giant or a party monster (monitor it's HP), drop a low lvl item and the pet will stay (most times) with that item until the item is gone and you can take the gold during that time from the kill.
