have you made sure that you have the latest drivers for the stuff in your pc? are you having any other problems with other games?

really, you would notice more difference if you spent the extra 20 on a better video card. most games dont' even need all the processing power those cpu's have. if you're using it for gaming get a pci express board and get the best card that you can afford.

so would there be something wrong with going only with weapons skills and forgoing the magical stuff? would i be totally handicapping myself in some unknown way? just curious if anyone had done this?
