The immortal bonus is useless. All it does is decrease the chance of the item breaking when you try to enchant it.
I would suggest getting some lvl 16 boots.

Really big problem with SRO
When I'm running, every 5 seconds or so, the game stutters and it moves me back about 5-10 metres to where I'm supposed to be. It's taking me twice or thrice as long to get to a place. And it's making it really difficult to run away from mobs. I didn't always have this problem. It just happened one ...
