The problem with your camel might have been caused by a pet. Did you have a pick up pet or wolf on during the trip? I noticed that when you port with a pet,the game auto highlights them. I grind at least an 2 hrs a day and double/triple that on the weekend and I finished the quest 2 times. With the 5 hours you are always getting ticket time so it's easier to complete than the seeds.
