Fire for damage. Ice for freezing. It depends on what you want really. If you want to focus on knock down I would suggest fire more. If you like the chains then ice is better.

If it says 300% it means it will heal for 3 times your current magical damage plus the stated extra healing. If your magical damage is 1,000 and the extra healing is 500 you end up healing 3,500 hp totally.

Cleric sub will be the most useful. It have lots of useful support skills and survival skills.

Bard will let you level up faster due to Moving March and Noise. It also costs a lot less sp.

Fast shot should be maxed because it is a good mob finisher. You will find it helpful in hunting. Rapid Shot just get level 1 because it aggroes too many mobs at once. And in PvP not many people will stand that close to each other for it to be useful.

Just because he parties it doesn't mean he doesn't bot. He can very well bot and just chat with ppl to pretend he doesn't bot.
