a strange thing to note though... If you are in a party with capes on, AOE damage still occurs to all in the radius. AND, you still lose EXP and cannot immediately respawn. WTF. It happened a few nights ago, when I caught the collateral damage of a guildmate's spear, lol. I was standing fairly close...
