Yes, however, perhaps you would like to consider your total mastery lvl? Say 70 for weapon, 70 for lightning(grasswalk), 70 for maybe force(rez, which SOMEONE has to learn or nobody gets rez at all...), fire(for damage, OBVIOUSLY), 20 masteries for ice remain... that enough for 80 total? Don't think...

Glaives might lose if the blader has a super high block ratio, but if they're ice blade, they can't kill glaives, due to their damage being too low. By the time you're lvl 70+, pure strengths will have so much HP that 1:1 hybrids just can't kill you, and pure ints will have so much offensive power that they can kill you so quick... yet 1:1s will have about half the attack of pure int, and 3 times less HP than ...

As a hybrid you can still do well when you are in a group, but if it's like 2 on 1.
