Cuz botting is based on software.(most of the time)
Give them a warning like for instance
Software detected Play at own risk.
this will scare many ppl of.

This has nothing to do with Vista I guess.
Reinstall winzip, or winrar.
That should solve the problem.

I get to the Char select screen and then everything freezes.
Maybe it's Nprotect or DirectX10 I dunno

Have you tried waiting a bit? For some reason my screen freezes at that point too sometimes, for like 30 seconds (but only sometimes). I have no idea why that problem occurs on my system. But if waiting a bit doesn't solve it then it might have something to do with you running the game on Vista. SR...

I have Windows Vista home basic and when I start SRO it'll work untill I get to the char select window.I don't see a charactar only the docks.When i try to end the proces i need to reboot my Pc.
