I'm also stuck with this quest, the directions available are a bit vague, they say go north outside the west gate then south west along a path, yet i cannot find a stable

i seem to remember a tiger hunting quest where i had seen it written saying it doesnt tell you how many you have killed, you have tou count or look at the quest details to see how youre doing. i also remember it working fine for me though
