The hybrid int spear is good, but he's also a dual weapon user from the looks of it.

With sosun spear, he's at 68%/103% balances... definitely not a 2:1 int from the looks of it. Anyone know? 4:1? 5:1?

It is a hard comparison... Comparing Hybrid SS vs. Hybrid Spear: Spear has more HP Spear has stronger crits with weapon skills Spear has stun with SST Spear has the stronger weapon, but less INT.. SS has shield for extra defense SS has weaker crits, but more damage overall(not sure on the last part)...
