I just installed the latest version of Wine, ( 0.9.38 ) and SRO is now unplayable at all It's is simple : everything is good and when I log on to the game, no one is moving, even me ! And no info are coming to my character ( game said that I was unguilded... I'm the master of my Guild ^^ and at the ...

Now it is fully playable you know... I didn't use my Windows XP for 3 or 4 weeks now...

I updated the lastest version of Wine ( Wine 0.9.37 ) and all fonts appears on game. Howerver, I sitll have the same graphic bugs with sos glows and and buffs ( displayed only sometimes.) and Emblems are still white squares. It is a good new to see all fonts now ^^ You can blow away your Windows XP ...

You can try to install Ubuntu on a external hard drive or use a 2 or 4 GB usb key ... You would never see if it's work properly within an emulation like that ( tooo slow )

Thanks, but I already tried all differents drivers, and even OSS is crappy... It a good idea to google ATI or Nvidia+unbuntu to find some usefull tricks. I googled also Wine+unbuntu to find some answers to my problems and fixed some to manage too run the game
