It's one of the few goodbye threads I reply to, but it's sad to see you hacked. For me, your posts regarding the game's "mechanics" were very interesting and helpful alike. I hope you will still say around here and keep up the good work you're doing. I couldn't help but notice the correla...

At the moment, one page is all you get.

I don't know if there are any plans to increase the inventory size, but it sure would be nice!

Best drop I ever got was a level 24 +3 SOS blade with some blues that my monkey picked up when I was doing alchemy in town. I saw my monkey pick it up and figured it was something for the rondo pile. Best drop from a mob would probably be the level 29 +7 bracer that I got from Earth Taoists. No blue...

It's open source, easy to use, and very configurable.

I'd love to see this in iSRO for two big reasons:

1) I could easily sell my stuff to a larger audience.
2) I could easily buy a larger variety of stuff.

Usually 30% for both unless I'm fighting oranges, and then I'll go to 40% (or more, depending if they're aggro or not and how much they hit me for).

This is with a hybrid int build.

so you see a gm and the first thought is "lets all pk the gm!" ...and you people wonder why joymax is screwing you over +1 +1 indeed. This game needs much more visible presence from Joymax, but when they do get ingame half the server is trying to gank them. Then again, it really is Joymax...

Don't you also have to select the server too?

Go to "Personal Info" at the top of the page, then click the "Change character's name" link and select the server. Then try to post on the forums again.

Try setting up a Samba share on the Linux box.

It's really easy to set up, and depending on the distro you're using samba is probably already running.

Actually I was wondering why this morning sro_client.exe was asking for server rights on port 4142. Until today it's not had to have server rights to run. Maybe because of a stealth update, I dunno. But yeah, Windows Firewall is next to completely useless... people would be advised to ditch it and g...

Since a lot of bots are apparently driven by waypoints, perhaps Joymax should occasionally and randomly spawn walls or some impassable object at those points. That way all the botters will be there humping the walls like mad while real players would just walk around them. If the server detects them ...

There is plenty of interwebs using "safe mode with networking". Try that option instead of just "safe mode".

Also, safe mode is anything but cool but it is probably the only way you can update your client based on your threads.

Almost all MMOs have some mechanism to kick people off the servers for inactivity. It's usually a timer between keypresses, mouse clicks, or mouse movements. If those events don't happen within a set period of time, then the user gets kicked. It's amazing that SRO doesn't use this especially since ...

I've been trying to get on for the past hour or so and got about 30 image verifications in that time and I've started to notice a pattern. They're all just about impossible to type in under 2 seconds. Some are way more skewed to an angle than I've ever seen and every single one has had at least two...
