Well it depends on what type of guitarist you are talking about... interms of a show guitarist probably Steve Vai and Joe Satriani with Yngwie Malmsteen a close third. In terms of an actual Band guitarist rather an a showman I would probably go with John Petrucci simply because you never hear a bad...
