I pass things between accounts (main character to stall character) by using 2 PCs, like you already mentioned. The only other way I can see is to pass them to someone you know you can trust to act as a temporary holding point. They can then give them back once you have logged on with the character y...

Protector = 10% movement speed increase / 10% MP usage decrease
Garment = 20% movement speed increase / 20% MP usage decrease

Bonus only relevant for a full set.

If memory serves, I think Res scrolls are part of the reward for a Quest in the early 30s (Lachrymal Birthday Present?), although you only get a couple and they have a reduction in the amout of exp you lose.
