That guide says fear is optional. I say its required. Why? Fear allows you to solo giants with ease, and perhaps even kite 1v1 pvp

Pure int s/s if and only if you can get a 100% kd rate or 100% block rate
Pure int spear if and only if you can get a 100% stun rate
Pure int cleric if and only if your opponent lets you get 1 free hit

Well since these things don't happen, there is no "best" build

The whole point of going hybrid is to have both the magic damage buff from lightning and physical damage buff and passive from fire. Hybrid dual ints are no longer effective. In my opinion, all hybrid ints have lost their effectiveness. Hybrid str is debatable, especially with bow.

im just wondering....when a stat (mag atk lets say) gets assimilated, does it have the same chances of getting a certain new value as a stone's reset chances? i.e. Philosophy stone - 50%chance of 0%mag, 20%chance of 22%mag, 10%chance of 41%mag, 5%chance of 61%mag, and the rest somewhere above 61......

Interesting, but for a pure/hybrid int would 1 increment from an extra large pot be the same as a grain? And would 1 increment from an extra large pot take longer than a grain?

Out of curiosity, how many of you use vigor grains and how many of you use extra large vigor pots when pvping/warring/jobbing?

If you can, explain why you would use grains over pots or the other way around.

I would pick pure str since you definately need as much HP as you can get. Bow has no stuns/knockbacks/etc., yet.

I would wait for poseidon/odin/hercules

pure str bow crits higher than pure str glaive because of higher damage skills. Those 2 screenshots aren't enough proof that a hybrid bow crits harder than a pure str bow. For all we know, the pure str could be hitting on the low end of his range and the hybrid could be hitting on the high end of hi...

Erm definately pure str. Hybrid int is kinda popular, but I've never even seen any decent str hybrids of any sort. The HP loss just isn't worth it imo

when you begin to farm you can invest in fire shield skill. You can pretty easily get zombie resistance on accessories too

its not advisable for a pure int spear to farm 9 gap on bone soldiers and guards. mages and shamans maybe, but definately not soldiers and guards.

with new ice buff on, pure str bladers wont have enough mp to use skills (unless you really wanna get force passive...)
